Wrenching 6’ apart

In our repair shop, we are all wearing masks, cleaning shared surfaces, and working 6ft apart. For now, no customers are allowed in the shop. As we make policy changes, we will be updating our website and Instagram to reflect the decisions we make. Our top priority is keeping ourselves and our customer safe.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. Times are weird, but we are working hard to create a place that is more than just a bike shop. Now, here are some more photos for you to enjoy!

Buildout Update 01

We’re back!

Being back in the shop feels pretty good, even if we aren’t all there together. It is also cool looking back at the progress we have made. We are all pretty proud of how much we got done in the first month of access. Here is a little recap.

Worker owner Nick is pretty dang pumped to get things going at the end of February.

Worker owner Nick is pretty dang pumped to get things going at the end of February.

We have a big empty space, which is full of potential but also a bit daunting. How do y’all think it looks? Click the pictures to scroll through and see our progress.

A note on safety: All of us are taking the current pandemic very seriously. We always wear masks, stay six feet apart from each other and wash our hands frequently. When we are ready to take in repairs, we will let you know our procedure for doing so safely.

Welcome to the KBC Blog!

This blog is going to serve as the place where we share repair tips, product recommendations and ride reports! We think it will be a great way to keep y’all updated with the goings on at KBC, especially since things are kind of crazy right now.

Our new shirts for those who have contributed to the Indiegogo will be sent out as soon as we are able to do so safely.

Each worker-owner is going to be contributing to the blog at different times, so keep your eyes peeled for different ideas, tips and perspectives. Here are a few things we are gonna post about:
